My camera and I went for a walk around school today to record the different kinds of learning that take place on a typical Tuesday.
Nicola, from Leeds Art Gallery, came in to share some stunning pieces of art and we discussed how they made us feel. We are looking forward to the re-opening of the gallery and can't wait to see the rediscovered and carefully refurbished Victorian roof in the autumn.
Mr G from Artforms came in for his weekly visit and taught our Year 3's and 4's in Lotherton Class how to play the ukulele.
After school, Mrs F worked with our advanced guitar players....
Whilst our KS 2 children practised their badminton skills with Mr S......
Our Digital leaders worked with Mr R and Mr T on their computing skills..
and children in Y6 were hard at work revising for their Y6 SATs tests helped by Miss S, Miss M and a School Direct student from Brigshaw High School.
